Inspired by the masterful work of Irish wood carver Glenn Lucas, Karmin’s Lost and Found series was born from a moment of quiet observation. As Lucas carved, delicate wood shavings spiraled gracefully to the floor — lost fragments of beauty. Karmin collected these cast-off pieces and reimagined them into stunning, sculptural forms. LOST and FOUND #1 features natural wooden reeds and shavings, carefully hand-curled, arranged, and spray painted in pure white. The 9” x 9” x 4” composition invites viewers to appreciate the elegance of texture, shadow, and movement.
